Cape Photo of the Day - Photo #194

The Magothy was insane with boat traffic yesterday afternoon. I guess everyone wanted a piece of the lovely day. The telltale boat wake in this picture is a sign of just one of the many boats that were flying up and down the river. Add to that the sailboats tacking back and forth, and it was mayhem on the Magothy. Little Dobbins Island sits calmly as the boating world whizzes by (or anchors around her backside for a different kind of mayhem:).

Cape Photo of the Day - Photo #89

On this Memorial Day 2012, I came across a little red and white on the blue of the Magothy. This was just outside the mouth of Deep Creek along the shores of Arnold. It was beautiful day to enjoy the holiday and remember those who have committed their lives to the protection of our country.

I hope all you Capers had a terrific Memorial Day weekend. My deepest thanks to those who have served and continue to serve our nation. Our gratitude cannot possibly repay the sacrifices that have been made by so many.
