Cape Photo of the Day - Photo #145
Today's picture is in honor of one of my heroes, Sally Ride. It's not a Cape photo, but she inspired a young woman to pursue a career in the space industry who now makes the Cape her home as a result of that career choice. She was taken from us too soon, but she made her mark on the Earth and the heavens and the dreams of a lot of bright girls while she was here. Godspeed Sally Ride.

Cape Photo of the Day - Photo #144
Ah, Scrap Man, you have outdone yourself. I think he has made the leap from scrap collector to abstract artist. This latest installation is worthy of a collection in a fine modern art museum. I'm beginning to find a mad sort of provocative flair in his work. You never know where artistic genius will turn up - just so long as it's not next door, right. Sorry for the blurriness. I wasn't about to slow down.
