Attack of the killer tomatoes!!! We are being invaded!

Not that I'm complaining. I have been waiting all summer for these babies to ripen, and suddenly, here they are. Nothing else from my garden has been as highly anticipated as fresh tomatoes. They taste every bit as good as they look and nothing at all like the pale pink, mealy variety that comes from the grocery store. I am determined not to let even one go to waste. My family is gorging on tomato sandwiches, tomato pie, caprese salads, homemade margarita pizza, and BLTs. They were DEFINITELY worth the wait.
