Cape Photo of the Day - Photo #215

I spied this creature on Deep Creek yesterday afternoon. My best ID is a double-crested cormorant. I believe the light head and neck indicate a juvenile. During mating season, these birds grow a couple of feather tufts on either side of their heads - hence the name double-crested. I love the bright turquoise blue eyes against the orange background.
