Caught these guys catching some crabs down at Lake Claire while I was volunteering with the youth sailing camp. Classic Cape summer fun. I will show you what they netted tomorrow.

We treated ourselves to these beauties at Riverbay Roadhouse after the Strawberry Festival. They were our first crabs of the year, and we were not disappointed. A little cider vinegar and a side of crab spice, and we were happy crab pickers.

Cape Photo of the Day - Photo #61
Looks like there was some crabbing going on at the Lake Claire pier on Sunday afternoon. I can make out four chicken neck lines in the water, but no tuggers. A little early in the season yet. I see the crab pots out, so I know they are there, and early reports are that number are up this year, but we haven't seen any at our dock so far. Soon!!!
